Sarakatsani
*The
Sarakatsani were nomadic shepherds who were constantly
migrating throughout Greece. In the 1960's, the Greek
government forced the group to seek permanent
settlement. Today, the Sarakatsani do not reside in one
area of Greece. In fact, their populations can be found
from the Peloponnese to Bulgaria!
