Greek Fest 2010!!!!! JUNE 10-13, 2010
All day performances by Romiosyni Dance Group and one
extra day of fun!!! Starts on Thursday, June 10th Want

Klironomia
2010 *** Important Deposit Clarification
The deposit ($150) will not be cashed unless the
student in question does not attend Klironomia and
Romiosyni is unable to get their registration fee
back. You may post date your checks if you wish to
May. 2010. The deposit is meant to secure numbers
for the group so we can begin the registration
process as soon as possible.
I have also attached the meeting agenda to this
email for those of you who were unable to attend.
Reminder that the due date for deposits is
Monday, April 5. I will be at the church hall from
6-8pm on Monday evening collecting. Or you
can make special arrangements to get the deposit to
me.

A BIG thank you!! 2010 Hellenic Independence Day Celebration
The Romiosyni Dance Group would like to
thank everyone who attended our Hellenic Independence
Day Gala! This event was VERY successful!! For those who
could not attend, you should definitely not miss out
next year! Great food, great dance performances and a
great party!
We would also like to thank members of
Romiosyni as well as parents and friends who helped out
in the planning process of this event, especially
Giorgos Botas who always rolls up his sleeves in
preparing us an amazing dinner! Another thank you goes
out to members of the Greek Community and President
George Nikolaou for supporting us and giving a fantastic
speech!
Finally, we would like to personally
thank Fofo Sfalagakos and Stavros Konstantinidis who
gave us a very generous donation towards our group!!!

**IMPORTANT MEETING FOR KLIRONOMIA 2010!!!
There is going to be a MEETING, Sunday, March 28th @ 1pm After Church. to discuss Klironomia for whoever plans to go! This meeting is for parents and dancers!
We cannot stress how important this meeting is for anyone who plans on going! We will be discussing the details of our fundraising, costs, accommodations, confirmations and deposits. If you cannot attend this meeting but you are interested in going, contact:

1st Annual
Hellenic Independence Day Gala
The Romiosyni Dance Group will be hosting a
HELLENIC INDEPENDENCE DAY Celebration at
The St. George's Community Center.
Come celebrate Hellenic Independence Day with the
Greek Community of Halifax and the Romiosyni
Dance Group as we put on festivities to honour
our country and heritage.
An evening of festivities filled with
dancing, food, drink. performances, music, history
and culture.
Dinner:
- Pan Fried Haddock
- Roasted Potatoes
- Spring Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing
- plus lots of freshly made appetizers
Doors open @ 7pm, Dinner served @ 8:30pm
Tickets are $25/Kids under 12
are $10.

the Romiosyni Dance Group.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will help send members
of the Senior and Junior Romiosyni dance group to
Toronto for the Bi-Annual Greek Dance
Seminar, Klironomia.
Over 20 members of the group plan to attend the
seminar to represent Romiosyni and Halifax and bring
back new dances, experiences and memories.
Come celebrate our Independence day and help support
the Romiosyni Dance Group.
